Dr. Burns' staff was able to get me in quickly and worked with me to get my testing results downloaded so that I would have them for my appointment. Everyone was very helpful!

I had fairly consistent pain in left shoulder, accompanied by peculiar "clicking" noises in the shoulder. Dr. Burns recommended and I had surgery to rebuild the damaged area. David (P.A.) kiddingly said I had the "combo platter". Paid close attention to after surgery care and physical therapy and recovery is 100% complete. Like a brand-new shoulder! Pain free and fully functional. Now, 6 years after that successful repair, I am seeing him again to look at pain in my right shoulder.

My first visit made great impression on me. There is a very professional, and nice office Staff. Doctor Burnes, and his assistant provided testing, diagnosis, and treatment within 25 minutes. I couldn't dream of finding better doctor for shoulder and knee treatment. Thank you all of you at your Frisco office.

I received an email today from Shutterfly of pictures I took at a race I had to miss due to my knee 13 years ago. At the time, I had seen one doctor that was recommending surgery. A little hesitant, I was seeking a second opinion and Dr Burns was recommended to me. I saw Dr Burns, got a cortisone shot and went through his recommended therapy exercises and treatment and 13 yrs later that race is the only one I’ve had to miss. The info and knowledge that he shared has allowed me to keep my knees healthy while still maintaining a rigorous training schedule. I was also able to spend some time with his PA David who is extremely knowledgeable and shared some great insights regarding how to protect my sons arm as he grows as a pitcher in baseball. I could not have a higher recommendation for Dr Burns and his team.

In 2006, I shattered my left knee in an accident. Another highly-respected surgeon told me I might not walk again. Dr. Burns and his colleague, however, not only got me walking again, but his work enabled me to participate in multiple triathalons after recovery. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.
